As director of the EFT Masters
Program Ann has had the honor of helping certify the
most talented and experienced EFT practitioners in
the world. In addition, to her many administrative
responsibilities, she maintains a small caseload. Ann
is a clinical social worker with over 30 years in clinical
administration in the mental health field. Ann specializes
in working with other helping professionals who have
responsibilities for others. Her clients are those
people everyone else comes to for solutions: physicians,
agency heads, CEOs, and people in various supervisory
roles. The people who wonder sometimes: ‘Who
do *I* talk to?’
Ann holds a master of social work degree from the University of Georgia. She began working for the State of Georgia as a clinician and therapist when the Community Mental Health Program first came to Georgia. The mental health program grew quickly in the late 70s and Ann found herself a supervisor and manager. In her 26 years with the state of Georgia she was responsible for supervising clinicians, opening up satellite clinics, adult and children residential programs and group homes, and independent living programs. She developed a children's outpatient program which the state used as a model. She developed training programs for staff, developed policies and procedures and oversaw the quality assurance program and the accreditation preparation for the 400 staff center.
She then spent six years as campus director of a residential treatment program for troubled children. She was responsible for all program operations. During this time she learned about EFT and began using the technique with the children.
